Indian boxer Mary Kom has ruled out the possibility of a sequel to her 2014 biopic, which starred Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.
Directed by Omung Kumar, the film showcased parts of Mary’s journey and her achievements in boxing.
In a recent interview, Mary said a sequel is not needed as her story has already been told through the film and her book “Unbreakable”.
However, she admitted that the movie did not fully present her real life struggles. She feels only a small part of her hard work was shown on screen.
Mary also spoke about her “Bigg Boss 20” journey and said she remained genuine throughout the reality show. She wanted viewers to see the real person behind her success.
