Prathiban, the Tamil actor, writer and director did play the role of Chief Minister in the film, Okka Votu, showing how cunning the politics and politicians can be.
Oke Okkadu (Arjun)
Most popular and classic film in the political drama genre is Oke Okkadu. Even the Hindi version, Nayak became a huge hit on satellite TV. A journalist who doesn’t work for any political party becoming Chief Minister is the USP of the movie and Shankar delivered a classic with Arjun as hero.

Adhinetha (Jagapathi Babu)
Jagapathi Babu tried his hand on a loud and eccentric political drama, Adhinetha. Even though he performed well, his star power did not add to the subject and it failed at the box office.

Superstar Krishna before his son, Mahesh played the character of Chief Minister in the film, Mukhyamantri. Unfortunately, the movie did not succeed and it is not available on internet too.

In the movie, Rajakeeya Chadaramgam, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, played the role of a Chief Minister and even Superstar Krishna shared screen with him in the movie.
Bharat Ane Nenu (Mahesh)
In the recently, released Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahesh Babu played the character of Chief Minister in a very stylish manner and the movie became a huge blockbuster.
Leader (Rana)
Rana Daggubati played the character of Chief Minister in his first film, Leader. He impressed many with his acting skills and the story is still said to be a classic in Telugu Cinema. Shekar Kammula is highly respected for writing and directing this film.
