After a lengthy absence, talented filmmaker Krishna Vamsi has once again helmed a picture. Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ramya Krishna, Shivani Rajashekar, and Anasuya Bharadwaj play major parts in the film Rangamarthanda.

This film was produced by Kalipu Madhu and S. Venkat Reddy for Rajashyamala Entertainment and Housefull Movies. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja wrote the music for Rangamarthanda, a play depicting the life of a stage performer. Megastar Chiranjeevi provided the voiceover for this film.
