OMG! Baahubali’s overseas rights for RS 95 crore!

Well, we aren’t joking! And we did pinch ourselves before telling you this. But one of the popular websites has reported this and we’ve learnt that their information is reliable. While Baahubali – The Beginning had generated surprisingly high revenues for the distributors, the producers of the film are setting a tease for part 2, Baahubali – The Conclusion. And the prices have hit the roof!

SS Rajamouli’s has managed a historical feat and the sequel which will hit the screens in April 2017, is estimated to rake in a lot more than the Rs 600 crore that the first film made! The website reports that K Entertainments has clinched the overseas distribution rights of the film for a phenomenal amount of Rs 95 crores which includes rights for Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam as well! Other than that, the Tamil domestic market is also theirs. A record it is of course, but one wonders if the film will live up to all the hype?
