While Baahubali – The Beginning had generated surprisingly high revenues for the distributors, the producers of the film are setting a tease for part 2, Baahubali – The Conclusion. And the prices have hit the roof!
SS Rajamouli’s has managed a historical feat and the sequel which will hit the screens in April 2017, is estimated to rake in a lot more than the Rs 600 crore that the first film made! The website reports that K Entertainments has clinched the overseas distribution rights of the film for a phenomenal amount of Rs 95 crores which includes rights for Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam as well! Other than that, the Tamil domestic market is also theirs. A record it is of course, but one wonders if the film will live up to all the hype?
