Om Namo Venkatesaya enters last leg of shooting!

Akkineni Nagarjuna who is on a roll as the lead actor with back to back hits like Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri, is looking to wrap up his 4th devotional flick in the direction of Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao. His second son, Akhil Akkineni’s marriage is fast approaching and a dedicated Dad he is, he is looking after the arrangements for the engagement and also making preparations for his elder son, Naga Chaitanya’s marriage as well.Before becoming, Daddy dearest, he is a committed actor and he is busy completing the film. He recently attended the shoot for Kalyan Jewellers in Kerala with Amitabh Bachchan, Mammotty, Prabhu. He came back to Hyderabad and joined the shoot taking place in Ramoji Film City.

Currently, the crew are busy canning scenes of Lord Venkateswara life story and how he became the shrine we see today. The total story will play out as a song sung by Nag as Hathiram Baba in jail it seems. The shoot for Lord Vishnu parts were also completed. Till now, 85% of the talkie part and songs were shot. Film’s climax portion was shot in the first schedule itself. Saurabh Raj Jain is playing the role of Lord Vishnu, Lord Venkateswara and will be seen in several other getups as well.

Written by J.K.Bharavi, film will have 12 to 13 songs composed by M.M.Keeravani. Anushka Shetty will be seen as Krishnamma a dancer and devotee of Lord. Pragya Jaiswal, Vimala Raman are playing the roles of Lakshmi Devi and Padmavati devi. Sources close to the crew, revealed that the movie will be on the same pedestal as Annamayya and climax will be emotional and touch a different point in devotional heights. Movie is looking at a February release and clearly not looking for a Sankranthi release as expected earlier.
