Vi Anand has made an impression with Tiger and Ekkadikipothav Chinnavada as one of the good filmmakers in Telugu Cinema. Even though he is from Tamil origins, he made Telugu Cinema his own and started working as the writer and director here. He attributed it to destiny that made him select Telugu Cinema as his industry and he is coming with Okka Kshanam for year end on 28th December. He talked about the film to media.
He said, “I am always fascinated by Science Fiction. Even in Tamil I did one subject with meteorite hitting a small town in Tamil Nadu and how people would live the last ten days. After watching that film, I got Tiger offer and decided to work in Telugu. My destiny kept pushing me to work in Telugu and I decided I will make it my Industry and learnt Telugu fluently to understand and communicate in the language better. In Okka Kshanam, the point of parallel lives will be explained in a simple way without any deviations.”
He further said that he is happy with the output and praised the chemistry between actors Allu Sirish and Avasarala Srinivas. He said, “In fact, Allu Sirish and Surbhi’s chemistry is not at the same level as Sirish and Srinivas chemistry, (laughing out loud). I am satisfied with the film and hope people will find it as appealing as Ekkadikipothav Chinnavada. Sirish waited for this movie from last August without signing another movie and he did give much better performance than his earlier films. I can promise only one thing, that is audience will be entertained and amazed by the storyline and we did not deviate from the story.” He confirmed that his next film will be produced by Geetha Arts and revealed that the story and cast has not been fixed yet.
