The formal pooja ceremony for Pawan Kalyan and director Sujeeth’s film happened in January. Tentatively titled OG, the film is being bankrolled by RRR producer DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainments banner.
Earlier, we had reported that Pawan Kalyan will be allocating only thirty-day call sheets for the film. Now, the latest reports suggest that Pawan Kalyan will kick-start shooting for OG from the month of April. “They call him #OG”, is the tagline of this as-yet-untitled film. On the other hand, the news is circulating that Pawan Kalyan-Sujeeth’s film will not have a heroine and songs in it.
Reports also suggest that the film will not even have fights on Pawan Kalyan’s character and he will be seen in a Guru kinda role. Reputed cinematographer Ravi K Chandran who worked on Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak is roped in as a photographer for the movie.
Apart from Sujeeth’s film, Pawan Kalyan has a film titled, Ustad Bhagat Singh under the direction of Harish Shankar in the film. The star is demand is likely to join the sets of Ustaad Bhagat Singh in the month of March, say reports.
It is widely known that currently Pawan Kalyan is shooting for Vinodhaya Sitham’s Telugu remake. Being directed by Samuthirakani, the film also has Sai Dharam Tej in a key role. On the other hand, Pawan has a period film, Hari Hara Veeramallu under the direction of Krish at the filming stage. If everything goes smoothly, Pawan Kalyan will have two releases in this year.
