Shruti Haasan has been a very busy actress in Tamil and Telugu films, having acted opposite every star hero in both industries. In the last few years, the actress hasn’t been seen much in many movies, mostly due to the pandemic, and due to her personal reasons as well. Shruti was last seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab last year, which marked her third collaboration with the actor, after Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu.
Shruti is currently paired opposite Prabhas in his upcoming film Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, and she will be seen playing Aadya, a journalist. Apart from that, she has also been paired opposite Balakrishna in the actor’s upcoming film with director Gopichand Malineni. It has now been officially confirmed that Shruti has also been roped in opposite Megastar Chiranjeevi in his film with director Bobby.
Tentatively titled Waltair Veerraju, the film is an original, and the team has been on the lookout for a leading lady for some time now, with the shoot having started a few months ago. A picture of Shruti with director Bobby and Chiru has also been released on social media, confirming the same.
