Official: Alia Bhatt Comes On Board Tumbbad 2

Alia Bhatt has officially joined the cast of Tumbbad 2 the sequel to the 2018 cult fantasy horror film Tumbbad.

She will star alongside Sohum Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film which is scheduled to release in theatres on December 3rd next year if possible.

Sharing her great excitement Alia said the original film left a much lasting impression on her and that she is thrilled to be part of its unique world without fail.

She also said she is much more excited to work with Sohum Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Sohum welcomed Alia to the project calling her one of the finest actresses of her generation.

Producer Jayantilal Gada also praised her casting. After becoming a cult classic and enjoying a successful re-release Tumbbad is now set to return with a highly anticipated sequel for sure.
