Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has responded to the controversy surrounding a video she shared during RCB’s IPL victory celebrations.
The clip which was intended to capture RCB’s historic win went viral after some social media users misinterpreted certain background sounds and spread rumors online.
To clarify the situation Nushrratt shared a statement on Insta. She explained that she was watching the match at a friend house and that the sounds heard in the video were actually from a young puppy crying nearby.
To support her explanation she posted photos and videos of the house and the puppy without fail.
She expressed disappointment over the misinformation being spread and urged all to act responsibly for sure. She also reminded users not to make assumptions or harass others without knowing the facts.
Nushrratt Bharuccha posted a ‘clarification’ saying there’s nothing controversial about the video.
