Lakshmi Parvathi, Second wife of legendary actor-politician NT Rama Rao (fondly called as NTR), is one of the controversial names in the history. Last year, Ram Gopal Varma came up with Lakshmi’s NTR which is a story based on the life of NTR from Lakshmi Parvathi’s perspective. This year, she is all set to make her debut in Tollywood. Lakshmi Parvathi will essay a pivotal role in a film along with Sampoornesh Babu. The new film is directed by debutant filmmaker Prasad Varma. Srinivas Reddy, who had earlier bankrolled the film Damarukam, will be presenting this untitled film.
Reportedly, the film’s script is based on Koyya Bommalu of Nirmal. The makers of this yet-untitled film wanted a strong personality like Lakshmi Parvathi for an important role in the film. When director Prasad Varma narrated the script to her, she instantly liked it and came on board. Anurag and Muskan Shetty have been roped in to play the lead roles in the film. Ali, Krishna Bhagavan, Chammak Chandra and other actors as part of the supporting cast. Pushpala Sagarika and Srinivas Kasurulu are jointly producing this venture which has music scored by MM Srilekha.
