The trend of re-release decade back or so films is continuing in Tollywood. Earlier, we had witnessed the re-release of remastered versions of films like Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri, Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Chenna Kesava Reddy, Dhanush’s 3, Prabhas’ Billa, Kushi, Okkadu among others.
All the films good revenues at the box office brought back past memories to the audience and fans. A few days back news came out that even SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan’s iconic industry hit, Magadheera is gearing up for a re-release in the last week of March as Ram Charan’s birthday special.
Meanwhile, this afternoon an official announcement came out that Young Tiger NTR and director VV Vinayak’s 2010 Superhit, Adhurs will be having a re-release. Reportedly, the remastered version of Adhurs will be out on March 4th.
Adhurs is one film that showcased the comic angle in NTR and made him close to the kids and family audience. The comedy track between NTR and Brahmanandam is highly popular among netizens. Co-starring Nayanthara and Sheela as the female leads, Devi Sri Prasad composed tunes for Adhurs. Kodali Nani and Vamsi produced the film jointly.
