NTR Jr never shied away from expressing his gratitude and love, respect towards Sr. NTR, family scion of Nandamuris’ and also a legendary actor of Telugu Cinema. After coming into Film Industry, Tarak aka Jr. NTR, never missed an occasion to thank his father, Harikrishna and NTR on any stage. He has been a regular to NTR Ghat near Lumbini Park in Hyderabad and he makes it a point to visit Ghat on 28th May, as it is the birth date of NTR.
But this year, he and his brother, Kalyanram in a joint press statement said that they won’t be visiting NTR Ghat due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions for crowd gathering imposed due to the Lockdown.
They said in an official statement:
“In the interest of public safety,NTR & Kalyan Ram will not be visiting the NTR Ghat tomorrow. They will be offering their respects & prayers to Swargeeya Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao Garu at home. This is to prevent gathering of crowds which is against govt Covid19 lockdown norms.”
