NTR, these three letters resonate a legendary name in Telugu Cinema. He is an actor, director, writer, producer and also a politician. He has a huge following among masses and many treat him as their God. Nandamuri Balakrishna, son of NTR, decided to make a movie on his father and tell the story in visual frames to lock it for younger generations to notice the greatness of the man.
On 29th March 2018, Honorable Vice President, Venkayya Naidu, clapped on NBK at a set constructed at NTR’s own studio, Ramakrishna Horti Cultural Cinema Studios, resembling Daana Veera Sura Karna sets and the famous monologue, “Emantivi Emantivi” has been shot by director Teja. NBK performed like his father and the actor talked to press about the movie.
He said, “I want to guard this story for future generations. He is an inspiration to many and being able to act as my father on screen, makes me feel lucky.” He thanked Vishnu Indukuri for initiating the process. Teja, the director said, “I hesitated to take the project but as a fan of NTR, I wanted to tell his story. We have started this project today with a good to release it for Dusshera. It is a huge epic story that could easily be made of 6 films but we are trying to tell it in one film.” Allu Aravind, K. Raghavendra Rao, Rajasekhar, MM Keeravani attended the function and wished the team all the best. MM Keeravani is also the composer of the movie.
