Jr. NTR has been taking up interesting combinations and trying to stay away from too routine commercial mass masala films as he believes that they have an expiry date too. So, he is in search of those directors who can mix the class and mass elements in their own style and present him in a new light too. For Jr. NTR, Trivikram style of heroism will be a completely new one and the actor wanted the combination to happen for a long time.
It did not materialise for long time, but it did now, after few years. But there have been rumours that Jr. NTR might not be interested in starting the shoot in regards to the kind of response Agnythavasi generated. A source close to the production house, Haarika and Hassine Creations, rubbished this and said,” Jr. NTR and Trivikram film is going on floors. It will be a completely different subject from what Trivikram touched upon till now. The ace director is locking the script right now and the shoot could start by February end or March first week and complete by September.”
The source continued to say, ” Definitely, there is an impact in the way people look at Trivikram’s abilities at this point of time due to Agnyathavasi but it is just one film and his first failure after Khaleja. He is still a star director and we don’t have to seriously judge him with one film. He will bounce back with Tarak’s film and the director has taken it upon himself to do so too.” As off now, the production is in shock with the high end negative word of mouth the film generated and they have added Venkatesh’s scenes to the film and trimmed out some unappreciated portions from the film, to control the damage.
