It is well-known that star heroine Samantha’s new project, Yashoda went on the floors recently. Said to be a film-centric drama, the film is being helmed by newcomers Hari and Harish.
Currently, Samantha is resting at home due to ill-health but the film’s shooting is progressing smoothly without any postponements. Meanwhile, the latest news is that noted Kollywood actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who impressed with her acting in films like Krack and Naandi is roped in for a key role in Yashoda. Reportedly, the team has already begun shooting a few important scenes involving Varalakshmi at a studio in Hyderabad.
Being bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sri Devi Movies banner, Yashoda marks the first film as the lead artist after separation from her husband Naga Chaitanya.
