Young Rebel star Prabhas has been missing from action for several days now, following knee surgery and due to the summer heat as well. He was supposed to resume shooting for Prashant Neel’s Salaar, but it is now being said that Salaar’s shoot has been postponed and that Prabhas will shift his focus towards Nag Ashwin’s Project K instead.
Prashant Neel has reportedly instructed Prabhas to cut down on his weight, as he put on a lot of weight recently before they could get back to shooting Salaar. As Prashant made it very clear that he is not interested in using VFX to make Prabhas look slimmer, the actor is hitting the gym to cut down on his weight. At the same time, he is expected to take place in Project K’s shoot this month.
On the other hand, there’s no information on Prabhas’s film with Maruthi, with the recent reports suggesting that the project will begin shooting only after Dasara. Prabhas’s Adipurush is currently in the post-production stage.
