Nora Fatehi has clarified the controversy around the Hindi version of “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke” from KD: The Devil which received backlash for vulgar lyrics.
She explained that the song was actually shot nearly three years ago for the Kannada version, not for Hindi.
Nora said she agreed to the project because it was a big film featuring Sanjay Dutt. At that time she was given an English translation of the Kannada lyrics and nothing inappropriate was conveyed to her.
Nora also mentioned that she only came to know about the Hindi lyrics after the song was released out.
She made it clear that she does not support vulgar content and thanked the audience for raising concerns while appreciating the makers for removing the song very quickly.
