Non-theatrical rights for Kamal Haasan’s Vikram fetch a huge amount

Universal actor Kamal Haasan’s new film, Vikram being directed by young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is carrying good expectations among the audience. Touted as an intense social drama, the film has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities and the post-production activities are underway at a fast pace.

A couple of weeks back news came out that Vikram’s theatrical trailer will be launched at the prestigious Cannes Film festival which is scheduled to happen later this year in France. Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Vikram’s non-theatrical rights brought the makers a whopping Rs 125 crore.

Bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s Rajkamal Pictures banner, Vikram has its music composed by Anirudh. The film is slated to hit the screens in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages on June 3rd.
