No stone being left unturned for Lucifer remake

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with Koratala Siva’s Acharya. There’s still a week of shooting left to be completed, and the film is expected to resume shooting in July. After Acharya, Chiranjeevi will start shooting for the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, to be directed by Tamil Director Mohan Raja.

Chiranjeevi held discussions with several directors for the remake of Lucifer, but wasn’t satisfied with the changes they made for the Telugu version, and ultimately finalised Mohan Raja as the director. There were rumours that Chiranjeevi was planning to drop the remake of Lucifer, but all of these rumours were put to an end when Chiranjeevi wished Mohan Raja on the director’s birthday.

The casting for Lucifer is still going on, and no official announcements have been made yet. It is already known that King Maker is being considered as the title for the remake. According to the latest reports, the team of Lucifer remake is trying to rope in Bollywood actress Vidya Balan as the leading lady in the film. If she says yes, this will be her third film in Telugu, after NTR: Kathanayakudu and NTR: Mahanayakudu. It will also be interesting to see her share screenspace with Megastar Chiranjeevi.
