Arya was last seen in Mr. X and also filmed a special cameo for Suriya’s Karuppu. However his scenes were removed from both the theatrical and OTT versions of the film.
Speaking at the press meet of his upcoming movie Ananthan Kaadu, Arya addressed that issue for the first time.
He said director RJ Balaji had requested him to do a good cameo and he agreed immediately because of their friendship.
Arya added that he never asked about the role’s length and was happy to help. When informed later that the scenes had been edited out, he accepted the decision without any disappointment.
According to Arya, the film’s overall quality is more important than individual screen time. Ananthan Kaadu is scheduled for release on June 25th.
