No Official Word Yet On Anushka In Khaidi 2

Rumors are circulating that Anushka Shetty may join the cast of Khaidi 2 the highly awaited sequel to Khaidi, starring Karthi. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film will see Karthi return as Dilli.

However the shoot is yet to begin, as Lokesh is currently busy with the post-production of Coolie, featuring Rajinikanth. Coolie is scheduled for release on August 14, 2025.

Because the director is fully focused on that film, Khaidi 2 hasn’t gone on floors yet.

While social media buzz suggests that Anushka could add star value to the sequel, sources close to the team clarified that she hasn’t been approached officially.

Meanwhile Anushka is preparing for the release of her next film Ghaati, directed by Krish, which hits theaters on July 11th.

She is expected to take part in promotional activities soon which may also bring clarity about her involvement in Khaidi 2.
