No change in Republic’s release date

After Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej met with a bike accident, reports came out that the makers of his upcoming film, Republic left in dilemma on the film’s release date. Being directed by Deva Katta, Republic is actually scheduled for a October 1st release date.

Meanwhile, this afternoon, the makers have officially announced that Republic will be released on time without any change in the release date. Sources reveal that as Sai Dharam Tej is slowly recovering from the accident, the team has decided to go ahead with the earlier announced release date. Confirming the same, a new poster with the censor certification and release date is unveiled this afternoon.

Touted as a political drama, Sai Dharam Tej is playing the role of a collector in the movie and has Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna will be seen in key roles in the movie and has its music by Mani Sharma. JB Entertainments banner bankrolled the movie and Zee Group acquired Republic’s theatrical and non-theatrical rights.
