No, Akshay Kumar isn’t starring in Mahesh Babu’s next

Mahesh Babu’s next bilingual have been in the news for quite a while now, first about the speculation that Parineeti Chopra will act in this film opposite him. Second, the buzz was that Akshay Kumar is going to essay the role of the baddie. Sadly, the Akshay Kumar bit is just a rumour. Murgadoss himself confirmed the news saying that Akshay won’t be featuring in the film as the villain.

The actor who is indeed acting as a baddie in Rajnikanth’s Robo 2 wouldn’t have found the required number of dates for the film as he is also tied up with Bollywood projects apart from shooting for the movie with the Tamil Superstar. As far as Mahesh Babu is concerned he is really pinning his hope on this film as Brahmotsavam was a big disappointment. He is also supposed to be starting with the shooting soon.
