Nara Rohit has been doing different kind of films right from his debut film. He did not choose a launch vehicle that would land him in the mass hero image bracket but he chose to do a film like Banam, that is completely off the commercial track in its story and treatment. After that he made many films that don’t fall into the category of Commercial cinema and earned a name for his script selection.
Now, he decided to encourage a young filmmaker in his next project as well. The movie will be directed by PB Manjunath and it is titled as Shabdam. The movie is more intersting because the actor will be playing a mute person throughout the film. The movie will start shooting from May as per the sources. Opening muhurat has been completed in Amravati on Ugadi.
The sources and several media reports confirmed that Nivetha Thomas is in talks for the leading lady role in the movie. The source in the know said, “Nivetha Thomas is the first choice to play the leading lady role in this movie. After watching her performance in the film Ninnu Kori, director and makers decided that she would be the best choice.” The talks are going on with the actress and as she has an equally important role, the actress is expected to say, yes and start shooting soon. After Jai Lava Kusa, she decided to concentrate on her studies more and hence, did not take up many movies.
