Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated project, “Icon,” directed by Venu Sriram, faced delays despite initial plans for production before the commencement of “Pushpa 2.” However, the project seemed to be on hold for a while. Recent discussions emerged when actor Nithin collaborated with Venu Sriram for a film, leading to speculations about it being the much-awaited “Icon.”
However, in a recent interview while promoting his latest film “Extra Ordinary Man,” Nithin clarified that the film he’s currently working on with Venu Sriram isn’t “Icon.” Instead, it’s a completely fresh story titled “Thammudu,” primarily centered around brother-sister sentiment. Additionally, he revealed that Sapthami Gowda, known for her work in “Kantara,” will be the leading lady in this project.
Meanwhile, Nithin is also involved in another film helmed by director Venky Kudumula, known for their collaboration on “Bheeshma.” Originally set to feature Rashmika Mandanna, scheduling conflicts with her commitments to the film ‘Animal’ led to her replacement by Sreeleela in the #VNRTrio project.
While the “Icon” project remains awaited, Nithin’s current engagements involve “Thammudu” with Venu Sriram and Sapthami Gowda and another film directed by Venky Kudumula, where Sreeleela steps in for Rashmika Mandanna.
