Nithiin took a year-long break after a series of flops. He is currently shooting for Alias Rukmini, produced by Nani, which is scheduled to release on December 4th.
He has also signed a new film, which will be directed by Ram Abbaraju, known for Samajavaragamana and Nari Nari Naduma Murari. The shoot is expected to begin early next year.
Meenakshi Chaudhary is being considered as the female lead, with an official announcement expected soon.
Nithiin is also working on a film produced by Sithara Entertainments. He is planning to produce another project under Sresht Movies, with Anji directing it.
Nithiin currently has four films, with two under production and two set to begin next year.
