Nithiin completely against digital release?

Young hero Nithiin has scored a super hit this year with the movie Bheeshma. He is currently playing the lead role in the movie Rang De. The film needs to be completed at the earliest as Nithiin has more than a couple of projects in the pipeline. He needs to start the shoot of the Andhadhun remake from November. Rang De shoot is going to resume from tomorrow. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in the movie which is being directed by Venky Atluri. Sithara Entertainments which produced Bheeshma is the production house for this movie as well.

There are reports that Rang De might opt for digital release. It is said that a digital giant has approached the makers with a deal of Rs. 28 Crores. However, Nithiin is completely against having a digital release for two reasons. Nithiin is confident that the audience will come to theaters as long as theaters are opened. The second one is, the movies released so far in OTT platforms have only received mixed responses. So Nithiin wants theatrical release for Rang De.
