Telugu Cinema has a rich background of being laced in mythology and tales of our Indian legends. In many films, we find references for Mahabharata and Ramayana, characters and stories. They are so popular that even though many films have been made on them, still, when SS Rajamouli announced that making Mahabharatam is his lifetime goal, many got excited and wanted to see it right away.
Well, there is still time for him to even start working on that project. But the influence of the mythological characters is so deep that even other makers, younger ones too, cannot escape from them. Now, Venky Kudumula, who made Chalo, with Naga Shourya decided to make his second film for Sithara Entertainments. The production house gave him advance even before his Chalo released, as they observed his talent while working as an AD for Trivikram Srinivas.
This new film will have Nithiin in the lead role and it is titled as Bheeshma-Single Forever. The movie is a romantic comedy about a person who likes to be single as he feels that is his comfort zone. How does he fall in love and what will happen next? Forms the story crux, it seems. The movie will start shooting as soon as Nithiin completes his Srinivasa Kalyanam in August, most probably.
