Nikhil Siddharth won many hearts with his debut Happy Days as a rough and tough college guy. He introduced his long time assistant director friends, Sudheer Verma and Chandoo Mondeti with films like Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya. Even though the films had few issues before release, after the release they became hits for the actor and earned him a name for his good script selection.
After the two movies, he starred as a patient of Porphyria in Surya vs Surya and enjoyed another box office success. He became synonymous for different and good scripts with young directors at the helm. Even though his phas Gaya re Obama, inspired Shankarabharanam failed at the box office he is again back with a movie that promises to be different and chilly.
His latest movie directed by Anand Vi, Ekkadiki pothavu chinnavada released a teaser for Dussehra and impressed many audience with its unique looking plot. The movie deals with love after death and soul escaping the body after death. How the weight of a soul 21 grams is relevant to the story is to be seen on the screen it seems. The audio release of the movie is planned in the last week of October before Diwali and the release of the movie is confirmed for November 11th. Shekhar Chandra is handling the music and Nanditha Swetha, Hebah Patel will be seen in the lead roles along with Nikhil.
