Nidhhi Agerwal appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday that is today in a case related to the promotion of banned betting apps.
She was reportedly questioned over allegations that she received money through hawala channels for promoting these apps.
During the questioning, officials reportedly asked her about the payments and commissions she received. Her appearance is part of the ED’s ongoing investigation.
Several other celebrities also have been questioned in the case. Meanwhile Nidhhi recently celebrated her 33rd birthday and announced a new female centric film.
She is now looking for much strong projects after Hari Hara Veera Mallu and The Raja Saab underperformed at the box office.
