New Lead In Lenin: Bhagyashree Replaces Sreeleela

Sreeleela is currently busy with multiple projects across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. She was playing the lead role in Akhil’s upcoming film ‘Lenin‘ which is currently being shot.

However due to her packed schedule, there were issues with date availability, causing delays in the shoot. Reports suggest that the team has decided to replace Sreeleela, though she hasn’t responded officially.

According to the latest update, Bhagyashree Borse who gained recognition from Mr. Bachchan, has been brought in as the new female lead.

Bhagyashree will soon join the shoot, and the team plans to announce the change officially. Sreeleela had completed a week of shooting, but those portions will now be reshot.

Lenin, a love story set in Rayalaseema with action elements, is directed by Murali Krishna Abburu and produced by Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments. The film is aiming for a Diwali release, with Thaman composing the music.
