Netflix has announced that it will soon begin operations from Hyderabad with a new hub focused on post-production, VFX and virtual production.
The facility will be inaugurated on March 12th by CM Revanth Reddy and Minister D. Sridhar Babu. This will be Netflix’s second office in India after its base in Mumbai.
The company chose Hyderabad because of its strong infrastructure and skilled talent pool which make it a key location for the AVGC sector.
The Telangana government’s support for the entertainment industry also played a major role.
As part of the Telangana Rising 2047 vision the state aims to become a leading hub for technology and creative industries while Netflix continues expanding its presence in Indian film acquisitions and productions without fail.
