Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos recently met with a group of writers working on Netflix India projects.
Joined by Monika Shergill, Vice President (VP) of Content at Netflix India he held an very open discussion on storytelling, creativity and the future of Indian entertainment.
Ted encouraged writers to continue creating original stories and said that every great project begins with a strong creative voice.
The meeting highlighted Netflix’s commitment to supporting Indian writers and storytellers. It also followed the launch of the NextGen India Writers Program which brings Netflix’s global talent development initiative to India for the first time.
Through this program, Netflix hopes to help talented writers create stories that can reach audiences around the world.
