Netflix bags the rights of Uppena for a stunning price

Vaishnav Tej, another hero from the mega clan is getting introduced to the industry with the film Uppena. The movie was originally scheduled for release in April this year but that wasn’t possible due to the COVID situation. Though there are some interesting offers to release directly through OTT platforms, the production house didn’t consider the idea. They are confident that Uppena will make good profits in its theatrical release.

Buchi Babu is the director of the film and Mythri Movie Makers have produced this project. Mythri Movies’ previous movies were sold to Amazon Prime but as the digital giant offered a low price to Uppena, they have now struck the deal with Netflix.

It is being speculated that Netflix has offered a stunning price to bag the rights of the film. Krithi Shetty is debuting alongside Vaishnav Tej in the movie.
