Netflix Acquires ‘Indian 2’ Digital Rights for a Solid Price

After a long break, Pan India Director Shankar and Star actor Kamal Haasan have reunited for the highly awaited sequel, Indian 2, marking their first collaboration in 25 years. The film is currently in post-production and has already received significant commercial attention.

As per reports, OTT streaming giant Netflix has acquired the digital rights of Indian 2 for a staggering price of Rs 200 Crores, making it a sensational deal. The excitement around Indian 2 has been amplified by Kamal Haasan’s recent success with the blockbuster Vikram. Fans are eagerly anticipating the sequel, and Shankar’s reputation as a visionary filmmaker across different languages has contributed to the record-breaking digital rights deal.

The movie’s production has wrapped up entirely, and the team is now focusing on the post-production processes. While the official release date has not been confirmed yet, speculations suggest that Indian 2 might hit the screens early next year.

Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rahul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, SJ Surya, Samuthirakani, and others in pivotal roles. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Films have jointly produced the film on a grand scale, while the music, composed by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander, adds to the overall anticipation and excitement surrounding Indian 2.
