Netflix has bought the digital rights for the film “Pushpa 2: The Rule” for a great amount of 275 crores. This is one of the biggest deals for digital rights in Indian cinema.
The film has already set new records in the pre-release business, earning Rs 1085 crores even before its release.
Allu Arjun recently won National Award for Best Actor has further increased the film’s appeal both nationally and internationally.
The digital rights are part of a larger non-theatrical rights package worth Rs 425 crores, underlining the growing role of streaming platforms in film revenues.
This film will be released on December 6th.
