Performances: Bellamkonda Ganesh is decent in his role. He tried to act in an impressive manner in the given purposeful role. If a script has scope to perform, the actor in him would have shined in an even more impressive manner.
Avantika Dassani looks captivating, but she needs to work on her expressions. She has got a beautiful eye which can be termed an asset of the film.
Samuthirakani gets a meaty role. He did cent percent justice to give a key role. Srikanth Iyengar has no scope to perform at all. Sunil is okay in his extended cameo role.
Charandeep role would have been designed in an even better way. Auto Ram Prasad is impressive in his negative shaded character but his screen time is limited to a couple of scenes.
Technicalities: The photography work by Anith Madhadi shines as he tried to capture the entire film in a realistic texture. His lens and frames elevate the mood of the film nicely.
The music composed by Mathati Swara Sagar is either good not bad. He tried to manage his sound to an extent. The background score elevates a couple of key scenes nicely but overall falls flat given the expectations of his work.
The production values for this tight-budget movie are okay. The art department has done a decent job as their work is visible on screen.
Other departments did an okayish job. The dialogues are quite effective written and so is the case with the editing work.
Analysis: A debutant named Rakhi Uppalapati directed the film. Though the concept of the film is refreshing and generates curiosity among the audience, director failed to handle the script in a proper manner.
If the same idea would have dealt with nicely by an experienced director, the result would have been even better.
To summarize, Nenu Student Sir lacks a racy screenplay and dilutes the audience with its presentation part. Not to forget, the pace of the film is also a defect for the film.
Verdict: Presentation default!
