Nenu Local touches Million mark while ONV tanks!

Nani is on the upswing and he continues to amaze with his script selection and bang on point box office performances with different films. Mainly, after his triple disaster turn out in one February he overturned his fortunes with Yevade Subramanyam and Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. Since then he released four movies and all movies have been successful in Overseas market as well. His study growth is evident with his new release Nenu Local. The movie released during a dull month like February and still managed to collect big during its first week and continued it’s pace even in second weekend. The movie like Nenu Local being more youth friendly scoring a Million and that too in Spring season is a testament to his star pull.

While the movie became a break even blockbuster, Om Namo Venkatesaya, has put breaks on Nagarjuna’s aggression in Overseas. His past three movies turned to be highly profitable with two of them scoring more than 1.5 Million dollars. The devotional epic, did earn positive Word of Mouth and appreciation from those who have seen it, the movie did not put up the expected numbers. The devotional film was expected to do better with families preferring to watch old Tirumala and it’s history. On contrary it seems that people want to watch it at home rather than on big screens.
