Rana is getting ready with his new movie, Nene Raju Nene Mantri to hit the Telugu screens as Jogendra, a ruthless young politician. Rana always reiterated that he wants to be known as an actor only and doesn’t want to be known as a hero. He is currently busy promoting his 11th August releasing movie in the direction of Teja.
The actor talked about the subject of Nene Raju Nene Mantri and he said, “Nene Raju Nene Mantri will be an entirely new experience for Telugu people. i don’t think the young crowd has seen such a strong film in recent years and I’m happy to be a part of the movie. The movie is more of a journey that my character adheres as the events unfold rather than being a hero centric film.” About acting in a movie with Teja as director and how did he end up choosing him over others, ” I and my father, Suresh Babu, in a way, grilled the director, Teja and he had many answers for all of our questions. We got thrilled with his preparedness and that made it easy for me to choose as well. I learnt a lot from him and his expertise in crafts helped him create a different world for our film.”
The actor is promoting the movie with the newly developed Augmented Reality technique. He unveiled a new poster and separate mark that is required for this promotions at a theatre that is showing his film. The viewers who want to interact, have to download the app and point the camera at the mark to scan. As it identifies, Rana and Kajal 3d holograms will appear in front of you for an interaction. This type of promotions have been used by MODI in his UP election campaign and Rajnikanth for his first look unveiling of 2.0.
This is the first Telugu film to use this new technique and the actor is happy to be the one who introducing this new tool in Telugu CInema. The actor got bombarded with questions related to marriage and he said, ” I will marry the day Prabhas and Nithiin will marry who are elder to me. Even my parents are not this worried for my marriage like you guys.”
