Neha Dhupia Opens Up About Her Powerful Role

Neha Dhupia says her new international film 52 Blue has given her a new confidence as an actress. After the film’s premiere in London she shared that playing Lakshmi helped her rediscover her acting abilities.

Neha admitted she never thought she would be chosen for such a powerful role and thanked director Ali El Arabi for believing in her without fail.

She also clearly said becoming a mother helped her understand the character much more better and added more emotional depth to her performance.

Neha revealed that she acted without makeup or glamour making it one of the boldest roles of her career.

She was especially happy when filmmaker Prakash Jha praised her performance. Neha hopes the film will lead to more meaningful and challenging roles in the future for sure.
