It is widely known that the shooting for Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Annaatthe kick-started in Hyderabad last December. But after canning for a few weeks, the film’s shooting was stalled abruptly after four of the crew members tested positive for Covid-19. At the same time, Rajinikanth was also admitted to the hospital after completing fluctuations in his blood pressure.
After almost three months break, in the month of March, the film’s shooting resumed with a minor schedule in Chennai. News also came out that the team will be coming to Hyderabad to kick-start the shooting at Ramoji Film City.
But later speculations came out that as the Telangana government has imposed night curfew, the team is planning to drop the idea of shooting in Hyderabad.
However, the latest news is that Lady Superstar Nayanthara, who is doing one of the female lead roles in Annaatthe has arrived in Hyderabad on a special chartered flight to participate in the shooting. Nayanthara’s pictures landing the Begumpet Airport runway are surfacing on the internet from this afternoon.
With Nayanthara’s entry, the entire team members are expected to be here anytime soon. Being helmed by Siva, Annaatthe also has Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu among others in prominent roles. Sun Pictures banner is bankrolling Annaatthe which is aiming for a Diwali 2021 release.
