Nayantara is enjoying the peak of her career and publicity in Tamil Cinema. She is known as Lady Superstar there and she set her foot firmly down when she is approached for a Telugu movie. That movie is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Jai Simha. The actress did not want to act in a Telugu movie as she thought she won’t get a good character like in Tamil Cinema. Still she agreed for K.S. Ravi Kumar, the director of the movie, who is respected in Tamil and South Cinema.
The actress did lay out few conditions it seems. The sources said, “The actress did not want to act in any romantic scenes with Balakrishna and asked director and producer to take care of that. She also put forth that she doesn’t want to act in any intimate scene and song routine, as well with any other actor in the film. She only agreed to do the film, once she got all her conditions answered in her favour as the producer wanted this combination to happen at any case.”
The source went on to add that’s the reason she is paid a remuneration so high, as the makers wanted Balakrishna and Nayantara combination in the movie, due to their chemistry. Nayantara also said to have laid some conditions for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film too but she allotted dates after all the negotiations have been completed. Jai Simha is releasing on 12th of January for Sankranthi. Hari Priya, Natasha Joshi are acting as female leads in the movie along with Nayantara. Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam have crucial roles too.
