Following a lot of anticipation, Nayantara finally got married to director Vignesh Shivan, with whom she has been in a relationship with, for 7 years now, yesterday, in a traditional Hindu ceremony. The actress met the director on sets, and the two started dating ever since, and were engaged in the presence of family members last year.
Nayantara has been doing a wide variety of roles in the Tamil and Telugu industries so far, but sources say that the actress has decided to be more selective of her roles here on, now that she’s married. It’s being said that she has decided to stay away from romantic or love stories, and is looking to sign more performance oriented roles.
Nayan is currently busy with a few projects, including Chiranjeevi’s Godfather, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Gold, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, to be directed by Atlee, which will mark her Bollywood debut.
