Nayaki postponed because of censor delay

It looks like Trisha’s stint at horror comedy with Nayaki will take a while before reaching the audiences. The film which was to release on July 8th, has now been postponed due to the delay in the censor formalities in Tamil Nadu.

Confirming the development, the film’s director, Govi took to Twitter where he posted: “#nayaki & #nayagi @trishtrashers @ThenandalFilms SORRY to inform tht release is postpnd to July 15th due to delay of tamil censor ! (sic).”

Trisha will be seen playing a 20 year old in the film which is partially set in the 80s. Apparently, the film will be 98% of comedy and just 2% of horror. Hope they manage to weave the desired magic! Satyam Rajesh and Sushma Raj are co-starring in the film.
