The Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui has accused him of alleged r*pe and filed a complaint with Versova Police Station here on Friday, adding another twist to their continuing tale.
Aaliya, who had served Nawazuddin with a divorce notice in 2021, made the statement on her Instagram page, but police officials chose not to respond.
Sharing details about their relationship and pointing towards Nawazuddin Siddiqui, his estranged wife wrote in Hindi, “A great actor who tried to be a great human being. His heartless mother who calls my innocent child illegitimate and this bad man remains silent.” Aaliya further added, “A r*pe complaint (with proof) has been filed against him at Versova police station yesterday itself. Whatever happens, I will not let my innocent children go in these heartless hands
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ex-wife can be seen sobbing in the video and can be heard saying in Hindi, “He has claimed that he wants the custody of the kids. He has never known the joy of having children, he doesn’t even know how to change a diaper, and he didn’t notice when our children grew up. But today, he wants to kidnap my children to prove to me that he is a good father. His father is a coward. He is exploiting his position of authority to rob a mother of her children. He is unaware that the Almighty possesses the greatest power, though.
Aaliya continued by saying, “I have considered you as my husband and lived in the delusion that you never considered me as my wife. The actor has crippled me.” I gave you the most significant years of my life. He has already caused me financial harm, and he has also made me vulnerable in every way. He has become spoiled by his fame. Because he has only ever seen one child, my son has never ever experienced the love of a father. But I have great faith in the law and courts that the decision will be in my favour
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya, who wed in 2009, have been in the spotlight over the past few weeks, accusing one another of numerous domestic and personal troubles, as well as their children, son Yaani and daughter Shora.
Nawazuddin’s mother reported Aaliya to the police in January 2022 for allegedly breaking into the actor’s home, and Aaliya responded by reporting her mother-in-law for allegedly using domestic violence. This time, Aaliya has criticised her mother-in-law for reportedly calling her “my innocent child illegitimate” while Nawazuddin stayed mute, calling her “heartless.”
She claimed that Nawazuddin Siddiqui had further undermined her from all sides while she was already dealing with financial difficulties, but she had complete faith in the legal system and expressed optimism that the decision would be in her favour.
She had claimed in previous blogs that Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his mother had denied her access to the bathroom, denied her food, and locked her and her children in a room at Nawazuddin’s house, among other things.
