Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently revealed that, despite his fans’ fondness for him in dark roles, he enjoys being in the sun.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, an actor best known for his roles in the movies Gangs of Wasseypur, Raees, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, will soon be starring in the romantic comedy Jogira Sara Ra Ra. While his fans enjoy seeing him play gloomy characters, the actor has admitted that he enjoys performing light roles.
The narrative of a couple who are resolved not to fall in love is told in the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starring movie. Recently, the movie’s teaser was released.
Talking about the film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “While my fans love to see me playing dark characters, I enjoy being in the light. And I am confident that this time even they will enjoy the laughs with this oddball couple who are determined to not lose their hearts to each other come what may. It’s an original and refreshing subject, like a hawa ka jhonka.”
Nawazuddin plays the lead in Jogira Sara Ra Ra, which was written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali and is directed by Kushan Nandy. In funny supporting parts, it also has Neha Sharma, Zarina Wahab, Sanjay Mishra, and Mahakshay Chakraborty.
Neha said, “Shooting for this film was such a memorable experience. We were all sad when the film wrapped up because I was having so much fun. Now, I can’t wait for you all to see it and enjoy it. It’s good clean entertainment that you can enjoy with the whole family. Hop on board, you won’t be disappointed
Speaking of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, he recently discussed the value of perseverance in acting in an interview. “I have experienced my own problems obtaining passports and gas connections. I didn’t always understand that quickly. Even though I didn’t have the necessary paperwork, I persisted and eventually obtained them, the actor said, adding, “I’ve since realised that I had to put in some effort for everything. Nothing that happened to me was a result of luck. Each step required effort. If someone works as hard as I have, they will succeed in positions greater than those I have attained thus far.
The movie, which was produced by Naeem A. Siddiqui with Kiran Shyam Shroff serving as the creative producer, was filmed in Mumbai, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rahimabad, and Varanasi. It is scheduled to debut on May 12.
