Shiva Kandukuri stars in Nawab Cafe, directed by Pramod Harsha. After a delay due to a title issue, the emotional entertainer released on February 20th. The question now is whether it becomes his commercial hit.

Nawab Cafe Story: In Nawab Cafe, Raja (Shiva Kandukuri) dislikes his family’s tea business run by his father Ranganath (Rajeev Kanakala). He hates being called a chaiwala. But unexpected events force him to take charge of the cafe. Whether he accepts it and runs it successfully forms the story.

Performances: Shiva Kandukuri is decent in emotional scenes and has a fair screen presence, but he still needs more maturity as an actor. Teju Ashwini impresses with her expressions despite limited screen time.

Rajeev Kanakala performs sincerely as the father, but weak character writing reduces emotional impact. Chaitanya Krishna is okay in a negative role, yet his poorly developed character arc limits effectiveness.

Technical Aspects: Prashanth R Vihari is the only technician who does justice to the film, with his songs and background score standing out. However, poor sound mixing makes many dialogues unclear.

The editing lacks clarity, and several scenes have continuity issues. Director Pramod Harsha selected a fresh concept but failed in execution. The emotional depth is missing. Overall, the film falls short in direction.

Analysis: Inspiring stories must have freshness in both the plot and characters. This film lacks novelty, and with weak technical quality as well, it fails to impress even at a basic level.
