Ace filmmaker Maniratnam has teamed up with Jayendra Panchapakesan for an anthology series called Navarasa, which showcases the 9 emotions that all humans are capable of feeling and emoting. Nine different directors have come together for this anthology series, where each director will be handling a different emotion. These directors include Priyadarshan, Vasanth S Sai, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Karthik Subbaraj, Karthick Naren, Sarjun KM, and Rathindran R Prasad.
Navarasa includes an ensemble cast consisting of various actors including Suriya, Arvind Swami, Siddharth, Prakash Raj, Vijay Sethupathi, and several other big names.
