The 72nd National Film Awards ceremony will be held in Gujarat instead of Delhi for the first time in several years.
The event will take place at Ekta Nagar on September 22nd with President Droupadi Murmu presenting the awards without fail. The awards honour films released in 2024.
Article 370 won Best Feature Film, while Yami Gautam was named Best Actress. Mammootty and Kartik Aaryan will share the Best Actor award.
Prabhas Kalki 2898 AD won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Niharika Konidela’s production Committee Kurrollu was named Best Telugu Film.
The ceremony will be held near the Statue of Unity and all winners will receive their honours from the President.
